Today is a momentous day. Today I’ve added Google Ads to my site. This was done partly as an experiment to see just how it all works, and partly in the hopes that I can cover the cost of running this website. However, I’ve immediately seen a problem or two.
Google tries it’s best to figure out what ads go best the content of your site. And most of the time they do a great job. If I were selling digital cameras I’m sure the ads would compliment the site perfectly. However, since this is a site dealing with spiritual beliefs, Google has sent up some… interesting ads.
So here’s the Google Ads Disclaimer. Although there are some really great links that Google puts on my site, there may be ads promoting sites or products that do not line up with the teachings of the Bible. Don’t go there. Having said that, there are some excellent sites that I encourage you to check out.
In the meantime, I will do my best to filter out the garbage from the good. I’m not sure exactly how to do that yet, but I’m looking into it. I’ll be sure to let you know when I get the problem fixed.
